So this evolved from a sketch of Pearl in my notebook and accidentally turned into this, I bumped into Rebecca's blog and found the background from the episode which came from right here rebeccasugar.tumblr.com/page/2. (i take no credit) This is one of my top favorite episodes so I wanted to do a little something for it. It made me finally and completely warm up to Pearl.
Steven universe has touched my heart in so many ways and I really just wanted to draw something and dedicate it to my mom because of all the hell she's been through in her life. She may not understand at all what's going on in the picture but I can always just explain later.
Steven Universe is one of the best shows to ever air on cartoon network hands down and if you haven't watched it yet you really should give it a shot.
Also I don't take credit for the lines on rose's curls... They were just too far out of my knowledge of drawing it would have been impossible to do them completely on my own, you can tell the ones I did completely on my own. cause they look like total crap.
I really enjoyed making this and I hope it can make my mom smile among others.

This is a great piece of work and i love pearls expression! But your lines are a bit wonky and the anatomy is a little off, but it's pretty great overall!!
